Modular Design
ParkUp's flexible modular design allows Mabey
Bridge's engineers to configure the deck to maximise
the space gain from the available area whatever the shape.
The generous 2.5m bay width and 16.2m clear span design maintain best
possible access beneath the deck and ensure the maximum number of useable
spaces by mirroring the car park layout below.
Based around the standard 16.2m x 2.5m deck module the system includes
12.2m and 6.1m decks to allow Mabey designers maximum
flexibility when dealing with existing car park shapes and sizes.

Flexibility
ParkUp has been designed to offer maximum
flexibility using standard components. Deck heights between 2.1m
and 4.5m can be accommodated using standard bracing components.
Heights above can be achieved with purpose made bracing members.
Slopes and cross falls on existing ground can be accommodated using
the modular legs and adjustable base units available as part of the
system.
ParkUp features support columns at 2.5m centres at
either end of the 16.2m span. The unique deck design will permit the
removal of alternate columns to provide a 5m spacing for traffic
circulation in multi span designs or to improve sight lines to suit
individual requirements.

High Quality Finishes
The system features anti-slip surfacing to the decks, ramps and
stairs. This proven tough surfacing is normally provided in
grey but can be colour-coded to suit individual requirements.
Parking bays, circulation and restriction markings can be
applied over the anti-slip coating.

ParkUp parapets are provided with a galvanised
finish. The upper section of the parapet is modular and can be
easily modified to suit particular requirements.
Cladding and advertising can be fixed to the parapet without
modification to the design.

|
The underside of the deck units are provided with a galvanised
finish whilst the main beams are given a high quality white
paint finish to lighten the area under the deck and gain
maximum benefit for the lighting systems.

|
Deck Drainage
ParkUp incorporates a fully managed drainage system; the decks are cambered to ensure
that rainwater and pollutants run efficiently into the under-deck guttering. Deck seals are located
beneath the surface eliminating the risk of damage from vehicle tyres.

|
Lighting
Standardised lighting arrangements both above and below the deck are
available. The under deck lighting system can normally be fitted prior
to dispatch from our works further reducing site installation time.
Alternative lighting systems to customer's specifications can of course
be provided if required.

|
Flexible Access
The ParkUp ramp and landing assembly can be fitted at almost any
position around the perimeter of the deck. The modular design allows
changes in length and slope to minimise the space required whilst ensuring
safe entry and exit for users.
Single or 2-lane ramps are available from stock.

|
ParkUp also features a standard modular stair system. Stairs
can be added anywhere around the perimeter and can be formatted to suit the
available space whilst maintaining the highest safety standards.

|
Rapid Installation
Flexibility and speed of installation are key features of the
ParkUp system. Units can be quickly delivered from stock
and installed by our experienced site teams with minimal disruption to
existing facilities.
Columns and bracing are modular allowing the system to cope with sloping
sites and existing cross falls without the need for non-standard components.

ParkUp does not normally require foundations when
installed over a reasonably constructed existing car park surface,
avoiding the need for time-consuming base construction.
